Sand filters save space - STORM has designed a sand filter in the CBD of Kiama which provides a high level of runoff treatment in a compact space. The sand filters produce excellent quality water which in this case will be used for irrigation. STORM's sand filters offer an excellent alternative to constructed wetlands as they have less land take and simpler maintenance requirements. For more information, contact Matt Wierzbicki or click here to find out more. Water sensitive DCPs - STORM has developed several Water Sensitive DCPs for developments in Greater Argyle and Shellharbour LGAs. The DCPs include a WSUD strategy for quantity and quality management using a "treatment train" approach based on the integration of various model results.
